WorkshopsLe Step holds regular workshops that focus on different areas of dancing.Numbers are limited in each workshop. This ensures that you get the maximum possible benefit from the workshop. Want to enrol in a workshop but note sure when the next ones are on? Here's a list of what we have in store for you! Beginner Workshop The aim of the beginners' workshop is to get you out there on the floor enjoying freestyle as soon as possible - after all, that's what it's all about! You will learn a number of base moves (moves which can be varied later on) in more detail than our regular classes allow. The basic techniques you'll learn from these base moves can then be applied to the many variations you'll encounter in our Intermediate / Advanced classes. Beginner workshops do not require your own partner but you do need to book. Technique covered will include:
Dips and Drops - The Basics This one's mainly for dancers who can freestyle and want to expand their repertoire and understanding of dips, drops and how to do them safely. As drops are one of the most spectacular parts of this dance style, it's important to have a strong grasp of safe technique, not to mention know a few really neat moves! Basic dips and drops workshops require your own partner. Advanced We focus mainly on Style and a few difficult moves to give you a challenge! BYO partner! Up Close and Personal - Sexy and Seductive Just that! In this class we 'get down and get dirty' - so you'll need your own partner. Bring a partner and find out why these workshops are always our most popular! Book early or miss out! Aerials For those intermediate and advanced dancers who want to take it a step further! Also BYO partner. Please phone the office or chat with Mick at a class if you are interested in attending this workshop.
