The crew on Wednesdays are enjoying the good numbers! Join them for some mid-week dancing. Ladies, we've got plenty of boys on Wednesday nights and there's plenty of good dancing to be had. Join Emma for some tips on styling and balance.

As big as ever, join Kent on Friday night for some fun and freestylable moves in an awesome atmosphere. For the biggest and most popular class here on the coast - we'll see you Friday night in Broadie!

Just $12 for 3 hours and then hit the Casino afterwards for dinner and drinks!

Don't forget, with such big numbers on Fridays, the crew are the to provide 3 different levels of classes from 9pm. Something for everyone and plenty of social dancing!

2 weeks till Dance Camp!

Dance Camp 2007 is now a complete sell-out event with over 160 attending!

However, we have come up with two different accommodation options for a few extra attendees.

We have a slightly higher ratio of girls to boys so we are still welcoming boys or girls who bring a boy. Please call the Brisbane office immediately on (07) 3849 2553 if you are a guy or a couple and want to attend.

Girls, if you still want to attend, please send mick@lestep.com.au an e-mail with your name and phone number. We will contact you if we have any girls cancel. Alternatively, why not find another boy to come along and then we'll be able to take both of you.

Guys, it's almost getting to the 'last chance' stage so get in NOW. It's an awesome weekend!

Are you new to Le Step?

That's absolutely fine! We've got plenty of 'newer dancers' coming along and it will be a great chance for you to get to know each other really well. There will be lots of workshops at Dance Camp 2007 just for you newer dancers.

What to bring to dance camp:

For more info on what to bring to camp, how to get there etc you should visit our Dance Camp pages. Then look through the menu of pages on the left hand side of the page.

A reminder that;

The workshop dance floors are 'flotec' - a smooth carpet which is fine for dancing. However, we suggest you bring smooth soled shoes (boost sneakers and joggers are not good on this surface). On both Friday and Saturday nights we will be dancing on wooden floors.

Remember "Dress to Impress" is the theme for Saturday night when we will be transporting you to another venue for our party!

NO alcohol is to be taken on to the campsite! (You can have take-aways at the party on the Friday night which is off-site. The bottle shop at Mapleton closes at 8pm on the Friday night.) On the Saturday night you will be able to purchase drinks at the Dance Party venue.

Come prepared for an awesome weekend!

Last Broadbeach Mall Dance Party for 2007

Join us on Saturday 1st December for the last 2007 Mall Party "Under the Sails".

Very popular with local dancers and the Brisbane dancers too, this will be the last FREE event before Christmas and the New Year.

Dance Demos @ Broadbeach this weekend

Come and give your support to some of your local dancers and dance teachers as they strut their stuff in Broadbeach this Saturday!.

We'll be dancing at various locations within the Broadbeach Mall in a promotional opportunity that begins around at 12pm and will go until about 2:30pm. We'll be dancing periodically during this period and would love to see some friendly faces in the crowd. Feel free to cheer LOUDLY!

Dates for End of Year Break

The last Gold Coast dance class for 2007 will be on Friday, 21 December which is also the Coasties Christmas Party.

The first class back in 2008 will be on Tuesday, 8 January at Arundel.

Please note also that the floor at our Friday night Broadbeach venue will be under renovations for the first 2 weeks in January so the following Friday night classes will be held at Dance HQ in Southport:
