Due to the rain and less than pleasant weather conditions, the Dance Party tonight has been moved from the Broadbeach Mall to OPTIONS TAVERN in Helensvale,
This is a great venue and has a 25 seat restaurant attached, pool tables, dance floor and it's also Ladies Night so the girls will get 4 free drinks as well. Entry will cost you nothing and we'll start with beginner lesson at 7pm.
It's gonna be a night of dancing and laughs so brave the weather and meet us at Options Tavern.

The support crew will include Shelly and Dean who will teach the re-cap class and be there to dance with you all.
Tuesdays nights have been drawing good numbers so make sure you join Al and the crew at Arundel.

Wednesday @ Dance HQ - also routine practice night.
For the Intermediate class, Isaac will join Emma on stage and he's yet another trophy holder from the Sydney dance competition. Isaac's known for his fun and cheeky attitude to dancing so they'll have something up their sleeves for you in this class.
Laura (another recent trophy winner and Isaac's dance partner) will be teaching the re-cap class so there's talent galore oozing from this venue.
Wednesday nights dance crowd know how to have fun so if you're looking for another dance night, come and join them at Dance HQ in Southport.

Thursday @ Burleigh (LAST NIGHT)
This will be the last night at this venue. We will be moving our Thursday night class at Burliegh to Monday nights at Coolangatta.
Even though it's our last class here - please come and send it off with a big one! We have a great crowd at this venue so this is your last opportunity to see it in action.

Friday @ Broadbeach - Now with Extended Freestyle
Kent will be back on stage this week with Katie (another trophy winner from the Sydney comp) and then Janelle will join him for the intermediate class. Jade and Richie will then teach the re-cap class while Katie and Coby teach the intro-mediate (middle level) class.
Friday night's are the biggest on the Coast with loads of atmosphere and plenty of good dancers to dance with and to watch. Join us afterwards at the Casino for coffee, drinks, and/or dinner with all of the above.

If you dance a lot but not quite enough to make use of the Monthly pass, consider one of our new look passes that offer discounts for block purchases.
New-Look Multi-Lesson Passes are now available at a significant saving of over 10% for a 6 night pass or over 15% for a 12 night pass.

For $70 you can dance 4 nights a week right here on the Gold Coast or you can visit the Le Step venues in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast. This the best dancing value you can get. Not only does it make the cost so much cheaper but you can gain so much knowledge from the very experienced teachers at each different venue.
Le Step has some of Australia's best dancing talent on show and who are willing to share their dancing knowlege with you. So.....if you're loving your dancing, consider the Monthly Pass to save dollars and gain experience.

This venue has the dance floor equivalent to our Friday night venue in Broadbeach and has the potential to be one of the biggest classes on the coast. The Centre is located right next to restaurants and cafe's so you can enjoy dinner before class or supper afterwards.
Make a note in your diary and make sure you come along to our free opening night where there will be prizes and giveaways to promote this fantastic venue.

The Soiree held last year for the first time is back and will be bigger and better than the first. We had some very positive feedback from our initial event and have taken on board some of the suggestions for this years event in an attempt to provide you with an even BETTER night out.

This event will include dance performances, 1.5 hours of succulent nibbles, 3 hours of beer, wine, champagne, juice and soft drink in the gorgeous environment of the Hyatt Regency in Sanctuary Cove.
A "cocktail event" bringing out the glam and glitz of all our dancers. As this is a Soiree, tickets are limited and it's strictly first in first served. Tickets will be sold from 30 June - 25 July with the early bird rate of $89 for tickets purchased prior to 14 July 2008. All tickets purchased after this date will be at $95.

Dance Escape - Modern Jive Party Week - Sept 2008
Dance Escape 2008 incorporates our:
1. Dance Camp
2. Additional activities throughout the week
3. Championship Weekend of activities
We have already had bookings from quite a few people. More than half of the best standard of accommodation is now full so get in fast if you want to get the best accommodation at the camp.
We've already had people from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth and New Zealand register and we've even had a couple of girls from Stockholm (Sweden) register!
So, you've been told... get in fast for the best accommodation! Last year we had almost 170 attending.
If you have registered, you have till the due dates to make payment at the early-bird rates. If you do not make payment by that date your booked room will be released to others who want that accommodation.
Modern_Jive_Party_Week_2008
This is fully explained in the Dance Camp pages but given that some of you have asked to share rooms with 'friends' who are not of the same sex, we thought we should remind you of the rules set down by the owners of the camp. Where possible we have accommodated friends in adjoining rooms.
Please contact us personally if this is a problem for you.
Who wants to come to Canberra?
There's a small group of us intending to travel to Canberra in July (in 4 weeks time) on a budget, to compete in a dance competition.
