"Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another."
Tuesday nights @ ARUNDEL Miss Laura will be taking the mainstream classes this week with Allan as her demonstrator - we're getting great reports on how she's doing so come along on Tuesday night and support one of local favourites as she becomes a fully fledged mainstream teacher. Tash and Justin will take the re-cap class and Katie and Atul will step the next level up for the intro-mediate class. Next week you'll Have Coby teach with Tash for the beginner class and with Ciara for the intermediate class. Tash and Allen will teach the re-cap class while Isaac and Jenny will teach the intro-mediate class. See you at Arundel for a dance!

He will teach the beginner class and then the intermediate class this week with Emma while the recap class will be taught by Tyler and Kat with the intro-mediate class being taught by Austin and Jenny. We'd love to see many of you there on Wednesday this week to show your support as Isaac has his debut! Monthly Pass for December 2009 As of tomorrow we're into the month of December. For those of you who regularly purchase the monthly passes they will be on sale tomorrow night as usual. Keep in mind that we close for the Christmas break after the 18th December. You still have 8 classes between now and the break so if you dance more than once a week, you'll still make a saving by purchasing your monthly pass. Monthly passes are $70 which is great value for three hours tuition and dancing. NOTE: The monthly pass is NOT valid for entry to the Christmas Party ( final class) for 2009 on Friday, 18th October. This event will be a flat $10 rate for entry and will include a lesson and pizza! See below for more info... End of Year Class & Xmas Party The year is drawing to an end and with only another 3 weeks of dancing left we thought we'd start make sure you know about our fnal class of the year event that doubles as our Christmas party!
The beginner class will start at 7:30pm as usual and will be followed by a dance party with extended freestyle until midnight. You are welcome to BYO if you'd like to have a few celebratory drinks...please remember to arrange a lift or pick up if you wish to indulge. It may pay also, to remember to bring something to drink out of too. :) A reminder that the monthly pass does not include entry into this event as for this party there is the inclusion of pizza for all. Traditionally, this is one of the bigger nights at our Broadbeach venue so dress up for Xmas and bring your best smile and dancing attitude. It will be the final class for 2009 so let's do it in style. Red, white and green is the theme so get festive on Friday, 18th December and celebrate the festive season with a final dance off. PS: we had someone dress as a Christmas tree in a previous year (complete with flashing lights he had to plug himself into a powerpoint for....) Dare you to top that effort!! There will also be performances throughout the night of the 2009 routines. Holiday Dates The Le Step on the Coast Christmas Holiday dates are listed below. Please note there will be no classes in between these dates but we will be looking forward to 2010 with renewed passion after a big year and a much deserved break for all.
Routine revision - you're invited... If you learnt one of the following routines: Low, Burn or Closer and would like to perform at the Christmas Party on Friday 18th December, Le Step on the Coast are holding one hour revision sessions per routine this coming Sunday afternoon at Dance HQ in Southport. The times for the revision are as follows:
Please note: * You will need to confirm with your own partner (who you learnt the routine with) if they want to perform on Friday 18th December at the Christmas party. * We will not be "re-teaching" the routines but we will be "revising" them. This means we will provide a revision of each section within the routine as a refresher and then a structured practice enviroment with your teachers for the remaining time. * The hour will be full on but it will also be heaps of fun in preparation for the final event of 2009. We'd love you to be a part of the performances so don't think you're not good enough - give it a go and be a part of the celebrations * For some of you who learnt multiple routines, this will mean a big afternoon so come prepared and it should be lots of fun. * The times are set in concrete so please be there on time if you want to get the most out of the hour. * It will only cost a minimal donation toward studio hire as the revision will be provided at no cost - other than the teachers time. * For example studio hire divided by the number of people who participate (ie: $25 divided by 10 people/5 couples = $2.50pp) Hope to see you on Sunday!
