Tuesday nights @ ARUNDEL - Isaac teaching tonight!!

Join Isaac tonight at Arundel as he teaches the beginner class with Aynsley and the intermediate class with Rachel!

The freestyle, or social dancing is between 8:30 and 9pm where the group will split up into 3 levelled groups. If you're unsure which class to go too, ask one of the crew members to give you some direction.

At 9pm,the beginners will have their second class with Rach and IsaaAynsely and Justin while those who are just starting to move up will be taught an intro-mediate class (introduction to intermediate) by Tyler.

More social dancing after the second round of classes!

Wednesday night @ SOUTHPORT -

A quiet one last week with the Blues getting smashed by Qld but expecting a good turn out this week with the game out of the way.

Emma is teaching this week with Atul for the beginner class and Isaac for the intermediate class.

After the first freestyle session, we'll split into the 3 different levels and with the help of the awesome crew who are there to help you enjoy your night, you'll be out on the dance floor and not wanting to stop.

At 9pm with the second round of classes, you'll find Kat and Atul teaching the beginners while Austin provides the class that will introduce those moving up from the beginner level to something a little more challenging.

Friday night @ BROADBEACH - Coby teaching this Friday!

Join Coby and Dahna for the beginner class and then Coby and Laura for the intermediate class this Friday night!

Same format as our other classes but with EXTRA dancing at the end of the night. That's right - don't forget the extended dancing until 11pm on Friday nights. Kent will be there with Ciara to ensure the beginners and the intro-mediates will get their re-cap and intromediate classes.

After a good night of dancing, join us at Spinners at the Casino where we can order food and drinks and have unlimited space for the large number of people who come along to socialise after class.

Broadbeach Mall Dance Party

The next event here on the Gold Coast will be the Broadbeach Mall Dance Party

Even if you've only done a few classes come and join us for a night out in Broadbeach. We recommend you bring your friends and get them to give the free introductory class at the beginning of the night.''

The Broadbeach Mall Party's are extremely popular and make for a lot of fun and socialising. It's envied across Australia that we have this awesome outdoor venue that allows and open air dance party!

Join us for dinner at Pizzacake from 6pm - open invite, or get a group of your friends together and eat in one of the many surrounding restaurants and cafes before joining us for a dance.

Dance Escape 2010

Getting closer and closer.... danceEscape will run from Friday 3rd till Sunday 12th September 2010.

What is it I hear you say? Well, danceEscape is a massive 10 day event with some of the best dancers in the country heading to Queensland. The danceWeekender features workshops from Master Modern Jivers. During the week we will have more social and dance related events. The event culminates with a major Modern Jive competition on Saturday 11th September.

For now, it's time to lock in the first and second weekends (and the week between them) in for lots of dancing and non-stop partying!

Not Myself Routine - call out to all Intermediate dancers!

Some of you have seen the demo and other will see it soon. Kent and Ciara have finished the choreo for the next routine so lock in your partner and put your name down at any class during the week.

The dates will be Sunday afternoons from the 27th June to the 1st August and will be taught at Dance HQ in Southport.

Choreographed to Christina Aguilera's hot new track "Not Myself" the routine is loaded with new moves and great styling. You DO need a partner for the full 6 weeks so start asking around at class and don't miss out.
