Monday Nights - save $14...
Now that Monday nights are back to Holland Park it's time to get things happening there again.

We know that word of mouth is the best form of advertising. You telling your friends, collegues etc is way better than any paid advertising we could do.

So, on Monday 24th November we're going to have a bring-a-friend night.
All you have to do is bring at least one "first timer" friend and you and your first timer friends will all get in free. And, if you have already purchased a Monthly Pass for November, we will give you a free "thank you pass" that will entitle you to one free night or $14 off your December Monthly Pass as a thank you for bringing some friends along to try a class.

Lee Rays and Helen Leury will be teaching both classes at Chermside tonight. (Tue 11th Nov)
Lee and Helen are two very stylish dancers who are regularly seen on a Wednesday night at West End.

Lee originally learnt to dance on the Gold Coast and then moved to the UK where he taught for the largest Modern Jive company in the world. Lee and his very stylish partner Helen (from London) are now back living in Australia and are keen to share some moves and style with you.

Membership Program
We have now entered phase two with our new Membership Program.
As well as a few improvements to our original plans, phase two means your Monthly Pass is now linked to the program.
Therefore, once you purchase a monthly pass you will ordinarily not have to present your Monthly pass again that month.

We have tested the system and hope we do not have any 'issues' with the new software development but over the next month as we iron out any bugs we ask that you continue to carry your monthly pass with you (just in case), even though you probably won't have to show it at most classes (where the system is currently operating).

We are now currently developing phase three which will mean a fully integrated system with laptops running the system at all Le Step classes/branches.

Dance Camp DVDs still available.
A reminder that you can still order camp and competition DVDs.

Camp DVDs are only available to attendees of the camp.
They are a great way to recall the moves and technique covered at the workshops.

Are you new to Le Step?
We know that the best dancers are those who get a really good understanding of the basics and the base moves.
Our advice is; Don't be in a rush to move into the Intermediate Class.
You're much better off spending a few more weeks making sure you've covered lots of the base moves and know them well.

Typically the boys require a few more sessions than their counterparts because there is a lot to think about when leading correctly and linking moves.

Our comprehensive curriculum means there is plenty of repetition of moves without getting boring. In fact, if you did every Beginner class available you would have regularly covered 23 moves in detail plus another 23 in less detail. That will give you a whopping total of 46 moves.

So, stick to the Beginner and Re-Cap classes for a few extra weeks and become a sensational dancer with lot's of moves!


Doors open at 7:15pm
Just a reminder that doors open at all venues at 7:15pm. Before this time the doors at some venues are locked whilst we are running private classes, filming routines or generally getting staff and crew prepared for the night ahead.
However, we encourage you to be there by at least twenty or twenty-five past seven so that we can start the class for everyone at 7:30pm sharp.
Boys, the girls are generally much better at this so please help out in this regard if you can. It really helps when we can start the class on time and with relatively close to equal ratio of girls and boys. Thanks!

Please do your best to be there on time as it really helps all our new people to have experienced people there from the start.
