Chermside - bring a friend FREE night - next Tuesday
Are you from the Northside?

Please tell them about our northside venue at Chermside and our
free night for first-timers next Tuesday!!!!

Tuesday nights at Chermside were absolutely fantastic earlier in the year with Chermside numbers peaking at nearly 60 people. Long weekends, staff changes, people away for travel/business and the recent cooler weather have all lead to a drop off recently but the committed Chermside Crew have decided it's time to pick things up again because with more numbers comes more fun!

If you have not been to Cherrmside before, maybe you'd like to check it out.
As a smaller venue it's easier to meet people, see what's going on in the class and get a dance with some of our better dancers and crew members.
Lots of the crew and regulars also enjoy the meals that are available from 6:30pm.

It's also got a huge floor and plenty of parking at the back of the building.

Special interstate guest teachers - Sean & Charlie Weekend

We're thrilled to announce that Sean & Charlie from Sydney will be teaching two workshops for us on the last Sunday of this month.

Sean and Charlie have been competing together since 2008. Since then they have enjoyed being placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in freestyle at the Intermediate and Advanced levels. With enough advanced places under their belt they have recently moved to the Masters level and recently placed third at the Melbourne based national comptition. They have also been making a name for themselved in the cabaret section of competition with their self choreographed routines.

The Sean & Charlie duo place emphasis on a strong connection and great lead and follow which is seen in their signature smooth style. Teaching as a team, they ensure both guys and girls hear both sides of the move and get the most out of their classes.

If you want to see them dance before doing the workshops, come to the Dance Party on Saturday 29th May at CHERMSIDE BOWLS CLUB.
Sean and Charlie will perform a freestyle number for you on the night.

Brisbane Dance Party very soon!

danceEscape September 2010
It's confirmed that danceEscape will run from Friday 3rd till Sunday 12th September 2010.

danceEscape is a massive 10 day event with some of the best dancers in the country heading to Queensland.
The danceWeekender features workshops from Master Modern Jivers.
During the week we will have more social and dance related events including two routines which will be performed at the Champs.
One routine will cater for our I/A Dancers and the others for our Master Dancers.
The event culminates with a major Modern Jive competition on Saturday 11th September.
