In memoriam
It is with much sadness that the dance community is mourning the death of Alex Turnbull who was involved in a workplace accident on Monday 15th November. For anyone who hasn’t heard, Alex was killed by a work truck that reversed into him at Stafford where he was working as a traffic controller.

Alex was 23 (4/11/87 - 15/11/10) and started dancing with us last November. He loved his dancing and everyone at dancing loved him and his very natural and casual style. It was only this month that Alex became a member of our Le Step Crew and he was looking forward to being mentored by some of our more experienced crew.

On a positive note, I have been really impressed to see how teh dance communtiy have been so supportive of each other at this very very sad time. Whilst it’s a very sad time for all of us, it’s really nice to see that kind of friendship and support amongst the wonderful people we have at our classes.


Bargain - $20 off December Monthly Passes
Whilst we only miss one Wednesday and a handful of other nights in December, we are reducing the cost of Monthly passes for December by a huge $20 and as a bonus thanks for your continured support, we will include a Pizza snack for you at our Christmas Party.

FRIDAYS HAPPENING AGAIN
It's been great to see our Friday night venue happening again. With over 50 people there it's a great way to spend your Friday nights.
There's the option of having dinner at the club plus there's a bar. Plus there's lots of new people for you to get to know.

Direct Debit $18 weekly - Christmas Suspension
For those of you who are already on this handy payment system, please note that you're going to do extra well this Christmas.
Your account will not be debited on 20th or 27th December even though we are still running classes on 20th and 22nd Dec (incl Christmas Party).

For those of you who would like to go on this payment system, please check with our door staff for more info.
If you're not on the system now, you will be able to join in January.



Personal Hygene and this heat.
It's definitely very warm at the moment and I've had a few people mention to me recently that some of our guys and girls need to be reminded of the need to use anti-persporant/ deodorant.

For those of you who forget to bring your own deodorant you will find some free deoderant on the front desk or in the bathrooms (depending of the venue).
There is no embarrassment in using the deodorant we provide. However, it can be embarrassing if myself or one of the crew have to mention that you stink.

PLEASE;

• make sure you use anti-perspirant or deodorant, particularly if you do not have time to shower before class
• bring a change of shirt and perhaps a sweat towel if necessary
• bring your own breath-freshener or use the mints at the door

Thanks to everyone for sticking to our 'Smart Casual' dress code.
A reminder guys that we do not allow 'shorts' or cut-off sleeves at our classes - even in summer.
If you want more info please chat to me at class or on the phone.
Shorts and dancing just do not work together. Get some cool trousers.

Most people dress appropriately but if you're not sure, please ask one of our friendly door staff for a full copy of the dress code for guys and girls.
