What's happening at class...

TEACHERS
This week we're sharing it around a bit.
Tonight you have Kel at Chermside. Then on Friday you have Helen at Weller's Hill and myself (Mick) at Redcliffe.

AIR-CON
It's been pretty warm recently. If that's an issue for you come and join us Wednesdays at West End. Even with 150 people there the air-con still works great.

VARIETY OF MOVES AND MUSIC
The weekender in Melbourne was great for a few new moves and I've also got a few more new tracks starting tomorrow night at West End. Just two samples at the bottom of this page.

At Le Step, we like to be leading the way with lots of new stuff so we're very excited about this new technology! Very soon you will have the option of having a standard physical card or a virtual card on your phone - or both.

As more and more businesses adopt this technology it means you can have not only your Le Step membership card but lots of other membership cards stored on your phone instead of making your wallet or purse really bulky with cards.

I (Mick) have been doing some market research for the developers and am keen to speak with people who have a business that currently uses Membership or Loyalty Cards. As part of my market research, I'm keen to chat with you about the way you currently use plastic cards and the benefits they have to your business. We'll send you more info on how to get your card just as soon as we have the database etc all set up for Le Step.

Helen teaching at Weller's Hill this Friday
Helen has taught a few classes recently and I've been thrilled with the really postitive feedback about her classes.

Helen's demonstrator this week is Grant Luck. I've already seen the routine they'll be teaching and it looks great.

Mick teaching at Redcliffe this Friday
Whilst Helen is enjoying Weller's Hill, I'm off to Redcliffe to be the guest teacher there this Friday night.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new venue and having a dance with some of the new dancers in the Redcliffe area.

So please tell your friends and I'll see you all there.

Unlimited dance for $18 per week.
Now that we're well into the new year this might be something you are interested in....

We've had more and more people take up this option for paying for class.
If you'd like more information about our offer of $18 per week for unlimited regular weekly classes please ask our door staff.

This offer is for those who like the idea of cheaper classes combined with the convenience of a continual direct debit payment system. There are a few set-up things for us to take care of with the third party provider, so to get things happening for you it's a minimum 12 weeks contract which, subject to some basic conditions, you can then stop at any time.

So, if this plan works for you please ask our door staff for more information.



Slim-line Beginner DVDs
For those of you getting started with Le Step, keep in mind that there are two Beginner DVDs.
Each has 15 Moves plus technique stuff for $29.95. That's $2 per move.
Get both for $55 or get a beginner package deal on your first night.

Routines - LATER START this weekend.

A quick reminder that we are on again this Sunday for the final three sessions of our two routines.

As per the timetable, this is the fourth Sunday of the month so it's the later start.
Mentor Routine - 5:30 - 6:30
I/A Routine - 6:30 - 8:30


Flux CMS - Do you need it?
Our web site and e-newsletters are managed by a program called 'Flux' which was created by the husband of one of our dancers. (We're still working on getting him dancing!)

I find it is a great system and I recommend it to anyone who needs a CMS (Content Management System) for a web site or e-mail newsletters. No, I'm not working on commission... I just want to promote this product because I think it's great and it's great to be able to support the businesses of our dancers.

Easter Classes
As per usual, there will be no class on Good Friday (22nd April) or Easter Monday (which is also Anzac Day -25th April).
However, for those of you not going away, you might like to attend the Gold Coast class at Broadbeach which will be running on Good Friday.

With the Anzac Day holiday happening on Tuesday 26th April this year, we will have no class on that Tuesday.
Classes will be back on from Wed 27th April.
