RED ALERT ROUTINE
This weekend we have Sean & Charlie from Sydney teaching a whole routine in one weekend.
They'll be there Friday night for a general dance and they the routine starts on Saturday. See below.
Wednesdays are massive
Wednesday is party night with up to 150 people attending class at West End.
Come see what all the hype is about. 71 Jane St every Wednesday night.
Numbers have been slowly increasing at Chermside so get along to the Chermside Bowls Club on a Tuesday to check out the northside crowd.
Lee and Helen have been working at increasing the crowd at Weller's Hill and things are going well there. On the first friday of the month they have a 'Master Class' which is not too difficult but aims to give you some great skills.
Red Alert Routine
Red Alert is a fun, well paced party routine by Sean & Charlie from Sydney. The routine recently placed 2nd in the Team Challenge section of a national competition hosted in Sydney.
An intermediate to advanced routine, it focuses on a number of their signature technique and connection based moves with a few cheeky tricks thrown in. The teaching of this routine is designed to improve all areas of your dancing and will include a full hour workshop on lead spins to improve the guys lead and give the girls some new shapes to work with.
With the routine taught over two days you will get an intense look into how these two hear the music and apply and adapt their moves to it.
Optional: Join us for dinner on Saturday night. Venue TBC.
Spinning Workshop on Lead Spins - 9:30am Sat $25pp if paying just for this workshop.
Otherwise included in routine cost. Own partner required.

Virtual membership cards ready NOW for iPhone.
Visit iTunes and search for eCred or eCredible.
You now have the option of having a standard physical membership card or a virtual card on your phone - or both.
Simply present your virtual at class and we will scan your barcode straight from the phone.
As more and more businesses adopt this technology it means you can have not only your Le Step membership card but lots of other membership cards stored on your phone instead of making your wallet or purse really bulky with cards.
I (Mick) am marketing the eCred application here in Queensland as a sideline business called 'Virtual Cards Australia'. As such I am in a very privileged position to help any dancers who have businesses that would benefit from a virtual membership or loyalty cards. Gift cards are also available and there is lots more to come. If you want to chat more (with no pressure to use the system) please give me a call on 0412 174 111. If it works for your business then great and if it doesn't that's fine too.
Think of it this way, if it's in your wallet we can probably put it on a phone instead.
Brisbane Dance Party
Join us for a fun Saturday night of dancing and displays in July.
Beginner Workshop - 20th March
The aim of the beginners' workshop is to get you out there on the floor enjoying freestyle as soon as possible - after all, that's what it's all about! You will learn a number of base moves (moves which can be varied later on) in more detail than our regular classes allow. The basic techniques you'll learn from these base moves can then be applied to the many variations you'll encounter in our Intermediate / Advanced classes. Beginner workshops do not require your own partner but you do need to book.
Technique covered will include:
Give yourself a head start with a two hour intensive workshop!
Intermediate and Advanced dancers workshop
We've got plenty of new music at the moment.
Come along to hear the new tracks.
Enjoy the dance floor!
