Pre-Ekka Party at Chermside
Next week we have our annual Pre-Ekka Wednesday party night at Chermside.
Regular class plus a get together afterwards at a nearby pub.

Red Alert Routine & Performance
The Red Alert routine went really well with Sean & Charlie and we're going to perform it at our next Brisbane dance party on 15th October.



Virtual membership cards ready NOW for iPhone.
Visit iTunes and search for eCred or eCredible.

You now have the option of having a standard physical membership card or a virtual card on your phone - or both.
Simply present your virtual at class and we will scan your barcode straight from the phone.

As more and more businesses adopt this technology it means you can have not only your Le Step membership card but lots of other membership cards stored on your phone instead of making your wallet or purse really bulky with cards.
I (Mick) am marketing the eCred application here in Queensland as a sideline business called 'Virtual Cards Australia'. As such I am in a very privileged position to help any dancers who have businesses that would benefit from a virtual membership or loyalty cards. Gift cards are also available and there is lots more to come. If you want to chat more (with no pressure to use the system) please give me a call on 0412 174 111. If it works for your business then great and if it doesn't that's fine too.

Think of it this way, if it's in your wallet we can probably put it on a phone instead.

Beginner Workshop - 14th August
The aim of the beginners' workshop is to get you out there on the floor enjoying freestyle as soon as possible - after all, that's what it's all about! You will learn a number of base moves (moves which can be varied later on) in more detail than our regular classes allow. The basic techniques you'll learn from these base moves can then be applied to the many variations you'll encounter in our Intermediate / Advanced classes. Beginner workshops do not require your own partner but you do need to book.



Technique covered will include:

• Rhythm and Timing
• Handholds and Leads from the Man
• Spinning Technique
• Footwork
• Freestyling
• Basic Dips and Drops; and
• Developing Your Own Style.

Give yourself a head start with a two hour intensive workshop!
