Forward planning
I know it's a long way off but we have now locked in dates for a major dance weekender in 2013 as well as our next biennial danceChamps in 2014.
We needed to lock dates in this far out with our venues now so that we didn't miss out on venue bookings.

These weekends are the new Queen's Birthday long weekend dates in Queensland.
Many other states also have a long weekend for the Queen's Birthday or Labour Day on the same weekend.
